TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Regulation
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
